Abstract

1,125,507. Mop buckets. A. C. JAMES and W. J. JAMES. 27 June, 1967 [23 July, 1966], No. 33249/66. Heading A4F. A mop bucket having a base 11 and a perimetrical side wall 10 of such shape that the bucket is formed with two opposite curved side wall portions 12, 13 having different radii is provided with a mop strainer detachably secured to one of the side wall portions 13. The strainer 21 comprises a perforated funnel portion 25 extending from a perforated plate 22 which is provided with upstanding water guides 28 and with a downwardly extending flange having a strip which is engageable with a slot in the bucket to secure the strainer to the bucket. Both the strainer and the bucket are of plastics material and the bucket is provided with a flange adjacent the base and with a beading on the side wall remote from the base.
