Abstract

1,121,520. Hair curler. JOSAI DENKI K.K. 11 Jan., 1967 [22 July, 1966], No. 1445/67. Heading A4V. A hair curler comprises a cylindrical main body 1 made of a synthetic resin and having a plurality of projections 1a on the outside cylindrical surface and a heat retaining member 2, consisting of a heat resistant substance moulded on to the inside wall of the main body, said heat retaining member having a hollow interior with an opening at one end to receive a heating stud. The main body may be made from nylon and the heat retaining members from glassfibre or rubber. The projections 1a may be substituted by a plurality of circular rings or fins.
