Abstract

1,118,419. Syringes. CHEMICAL DEVELOPMENT CORP. May 31, 1967 [Oct. 6, 1965], No. 25149/67. Heading F1R. [Also in Division B8] A disposable cartridge for a dispenser gun for dispensing two or more materials simultaneously e.g. resin and hardener, comprises an outer shell, e.g. of cardboard, enclosing two or more collapsible tubes 44, e.g. of plastic film, and a plug member 34 which is engageable by the dispenser gun piston 28 and is slidable within the shell to collapse tubes 44 and discharge their contents through outlet nozzles 46. The gun may be hand or pneumatically actuated. Nozzles 46 may be initially sealed, and subsequently closed after use by a removable cap, Fig. 2 (not shown). The relative sizes of tubes 44 may be varied to provide a required ratio of the materials dispensed, e. g. tubes in the form of interfitting segments of a cylinder, Fig. 4 (not shown). The wall thickness of the tubes may be increased at their nozzle ends for rigidity, and the nozzles may pass through separate apertures in the shell, Fig. 5 (not shown), the dispenser end-cap 14 being modified accordingly, Fig. 7 (not shown).
