Sealing means for a harvester ground wheel (1), Fig. 1 (not shown), which is driven through a reduction gear including a pinion meshing with internal teeth 3a in a casing 4 supported by the hub (5) of the wheel comprises an elastomeric sealing ring 6 secured to a fixed shield 7 and having one or more radially outwardly directed sealing lips 6a engaging the inner peripheral surface of a flange 4a extending from the casing 4.
