Abstract

1,117,175. Moving trolleys over stairs, wheels. F. WOLFF. 20 Feb., 1967, No. 7905/ 67. Headings B7C and B7D. A device for facilitating the passage of a hand trolley over stairs comprises a pair of rotary members each having five radial spokes 7 on the outer end of each of which is mounted a roller 8. The rotary members are mounted on a common axle 6 which ,is mounted in crank arms 5 pivoted to brackets 3 which are connected to the trolley 1 by clamp shells 3a, so that the rotary members can assume an operative position resting against abutments 3c, or an inoperative position wherein the axle rests upon the brackets 3. The trolley comprises a frame 1, load platform 1a and wheels 1b.
