Abstract

1,116,738. Vehicle floors. VAUXHALL MOTORS Ltd. 23 March, 1967 [6 April, 1966], No. 15312/66. Heading B7B. The propeller shaft tunnel is stiffened at each side by a box section member 4. The roof 3 may be welded to the members 4 or may be integral with the floor 2, the box members being formed by angle section members welded to the outside faces of the tunnel. The sides of the roof tunnel may also be joggled to form the box members with upturned edges of the floor 2 or with separate angle section members secured to the inboard sides of.the tunnel.
