Abstract

1,113,641. Venetian blinds. J. AVERY &CO. (EST. 1834) Ltd. 28 Nov., 1966 [13 Nov., 1965], No. 48275/65. Heading E1J. In an enclosed venetian blind the framework has mounting bearings 11 each associated with a turnable serrated knob 12 connected internally to a tilt rod 14. The knobs 12 are connected to the rod 14 through a flexible transmission cable 13 or bevelled gearing. The turnable knobs 12 may be mechanically connected to the tilt rod 14 by means of friction gearing.
