Abstract

1,113,189. Switchgear structures. ETABLISSEMENTS MERLIN & GERIN S.A. 31 March, 1967 [1 April, 1966], No. 14736/67. Heading H1N. A plurality of horizontally spaced metal-clad switches 13, 14, 17, 18 are interconnected by a metal-clad bus-bar 22 and are supported upon a base 30 having the same coefficient of thermal expansion as the sheath 21 of the bus-bar. The base 30 is rigidly attached at one end to a concrete platform (31) (Fig. 2, not shown) and is free to move at the other end on rollers (33) or slides (34).
