Abstract

A threshold draught-excluding device comprises a base member 1 of e.g. extruded aluminium and having a longitudinal channel 2 of reentrant cross section and an elongated elastomeric sealing element 4 retained in the channel being hollow so as to be compressible into the channel and may be closed at its ends. The base member may be provided with a projection 8 in the bottom of the channel and having extending cutback recesses 9, 10, and the sealing element 'being correspondingly formed to engage in the recesses. The outer surfaces of the base member may be provided with antislip longitudinal grooves.
