[Also in Division E2] A rotatable spool fishing reel has a quick release device for attaching a body harness 7 comprising a U-shaped member 6a pivoted in lugs 11, 12 of the reel housing and having legs 9, 10 for attaching rings 16, 17 of the harness. In operation, the legs are held in a position extending away from the harness by a locking lever 14 which can be released to allow the U-shaped member to pivot so that its legs extend towards the harness, which is thus released.
