Abstract

1,111,293. Transducers. CTS CORPORATION. 26 May, 1965 [5 June, 1964], No. 22371/65. Heading H4J. The moving coil of a transducer, such as a loud-speaker, is carried on a hollow insulating bobbin to which is bonded a layer of a thermally conductive non-magnetic material, such as aluminium or copper foil, which dissipates the heat generated in the coil. The foil may wholly or partially cover the inner or outer surface of the bobbin.
