Abstract
1,108,521. Fog horns. TANNOY Ltd. 26 Sept., 1966 [30 June, 1965], No. 285/65. Heading G5J. [Also in Division H4] The casing of a foghorn unit has upper and lower surfaces so shaped that when such a unit is stacked with other similar units, its lower surface 2 in combination with the upper surface (1) of the unit below it (not shown) will form an annular horn 12 which is fed with sound from an oscillator-controlled electromagnetic unit 4 in the foghorn unit. Any number of such units may be stacked above one another as required, a dummy unit being required at the base to complete the annular horn for the adjacent unit.
