Supporting.-A dental or other lamp is carried by a clamping collar 14 provided with a set-screw 15 and with vertically extending arms 16, the upper ends of which form a fork connected by means of a set-screw 18 to a vertical member 19 rotatably mounted in a socket 20 at the end of the rod 13 or other support sc that the lamp may be shifted into any position by means of a handle 21.
