Abstract

1,107,623. Control of several motors. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS G.m.b.H. 28 May, 1965 [28 May, 1964], No. 22833/65. Heading H2J. In a sequential switching circuit for a number of loads, such as motors, control is effected by means of a push-button b2. When the pushbutton switch b2 is open, energization of relays dl, d<SP>1</SP>1, is blocked by rectifiers n12, n<SP>1</SP>12, which are poled oppositely to diode n1. Closure of switch b2 energizes the relays d1, d<SP>1</SP>1, as well as time delay relay d13. If the switch b2 is immediately reopened, the relay d13 reopens but relays d1, d<SP>1</SP>1, are held by windings d12, d<SP>1</SP>12 which are energized through rectifiers n11, n<SP>1</SP>11, and contacts of load relays 1c, 1c<SP>1</SP>. Relay d2 is energized through contacts c13 when push-button switch b2 is reclosed. The relays having main and holding windings may be replaced by two relays. A number of motors may be started in sequence by time delay relays which are connected to the voltage supply through diodes after actuation of relays d11, d21, and, after expiry of their delay period, connect the next motor to the supply. Signals lamps may be used to indicate the condition of the load relays.
