Abstract

Splints; foot deformity, treating; hands, supports for.-A splint or support for the hand or foot comprises a wire or sheet-metal supporting- member arranged beneath the fingers or toes and detachably or otherwise connected to a wire passing between the fingers or toes, across the dorsal surface of the hand or foot, and up the limb to which it is held by a bandage &c. Figs. 1 and 8 show splints for the hand and foot respectively, and Figs. 3 and 5 show a modified hand support in which the actual supporting member is detachable.
