Abstract

1,103,697. Frequency changing. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd., and D. J. WRIGHT. 13 July, 1966 [13 April, 1965], No. 15862/65. Heading H2F. A harmonic generator has a number of cascaded stages each of which utilizes variable capacitance semi-conductor diodes to generate a harmonic of its input. The diodes in each stage and a similar diode tuning the input oscillator have their biases varied simultaneously by a common control circuit. Frequency doubling and trebling stages and a stage using a strip transmission line are diclosed.
