1,102,161. Verifying records. BROWN, BOVERI & CIE A.G. 26 March. 1965 [26 May, 1964], No. 13018/65. Heading G4M. Data to be punched is received from a remote point and stored by closure of the appropriate one of contacts 8 to actuate a card punching mechanism 3, and the card is then advanced to a verifying station in which the appropriate one of contacts 9 is closed in accordance with the data punched on the card, a relay 7 only being energized if the closed contacts 8, 9 correspond. A similar circuit may be provided for each of a number of decades, and contacts 8, 9 may be replaced by electronic switches.
