Abstract

1,102,089. Motor vehicle bodies; sun visors. FORD MOTOR CO. Ltd. 24 June, 1966, No. 28272/66. Headings B7B and B7J. A motor vehicle body comprises an interior plastics sun-visor 6 slidably retractable into a box 4 between the vehicle roof 1 and the padded roof lining 9, 10. The visor is frictionally held extended or retracted, but may be spring-loaded to hold it in retraction. The visor 6 has radiused sides so that it can be rotated, and stops 7 thereon limit extension and rotation of the visor.
