Abstract

[Also in Division D1] Dirty solvent is heated in a receptacle 1 by steam or hot water passing through a coil 10, warm air is passed through the top part of the receptacle by pipes 14 and 15, the redistilled vapours being entrained in the ejected air. Greasy residues are drained off through an orifice 3 and dirty solvent is passed through an orifice 2. An overflow pipe 9 is provided and a pneumatic stirrer 16. Inspection windows 6, 7 and 8 are provided.
