Abstract
1,098,924. Mechanical switches. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORPORATION. April 9, 1965 [April 10, 1964], No. 15243/65. Heading H2B. A lever-operated switch comprises a frame 1 mounting contact springs (13), (Fig. 3. not shown) between which are insertable printed circuit boards 3 removably mounted in a rail 4. A cover 11, acting as the operating lever, has a pin 12 engaging a slot 22 in the rail 4 so that when the cover pivots open, the printed circuit boards 3, on rail 4, are all withdrawn from between the contact springs (13) in frame 1. In other embodiments the frame 1 provides supports (31), (32), (32<SP>1</SP>), for pivoting the operating levers (5), (5<SP>1</SP>), (5<SP>11</SP>), which are linked to the printed circuit boards 3, (Figs. 5-7, not shown), and provision is made for moving two such switching members or boards 3 in opposite directions by handles (18<SP>1</SP>). (18<SP>11</SP>). (Figs. 6. 7, not shown).
