Abstract
1,096,133. Transistor switching circuits. BURGOT AUTOMATIC ALARMS Ltd. May 27, 1966 [May 28, 1965], No. 22737/65. Heading H3T. [Also in Division G4] Alarm signals from a vibration transducer, e.g. a microphone VT pass through a three-stage transistorized amplifier VT1, VT2, VT3 to an emitter follower detector VT4 and an integrator VT5 having a storage capacitor C13 which charges up until it reaches the voltage at which unijunction transistor VT6 conducts to block VT7 and actuate an alarm. When the detector is initially switched on a false signal may be sent to emitter follower VT4. This is obviated by by-passing output from VT3 through a reset circuit consisting of diode MR1, capacitor C11 and resistor R15. The integrator has a decaying memory of about 10 minutes. A diode MR2 is provided to discharge the memory circuit when switching on the device.
