Abstract

1,094,483. Perspective drawing instrument. P. H. NEWMAN. April 14, 1966 [March 20, 1965], No. 11919/65. Heading B6P. A metal ruler 1 with a raised spine 2 has two pairs of metal clamps 3 clamped thereto. Two rubber-tyred rollers 6, 7 of different diameter are concentrically mounted on bushes 5 rotatably mounted in sleeves 4 of the clamps 3. Square holes are formed through the axes of the bushes and rollers to accommodate a square spindle 8. A flat spring (not illustrated) is attached to the face of roller 6 to clamp against the spindle and retain it in position. An additional straight edge may be pivoted to the ruler in the manner of an adjustable set square.
