Abstract
1,093,007. Tractor power lift mechanisms. X. FENDT and H. FENDT. July 22, 1965 [Sept. 18, 1964], No. 31174/65. Heading A1D. The mechanism has draft and position controls which can be selected to operate separately or in combination. In the combined operation shown in the Figure, draft control impulses are transmitted through a lever 10 to a disc 21 which is also acted upon by a follow-up cam 12 on the rock shaft 11. The disc is pivoted on the rod 23 by which the impulses are transmitted to a slide 28 in the hydraulic control circuit. For separate operation of the controls the rod 23, and associated disc 21, are pivoted through 90 degrees by means of the hand lever 25. The disc has cut-outs which accommodate the control which is not operative. The sensitivity of the draft control can be adjusted by longitudinal movement of the lever 10 by hand lever 36. In an embodiment the lever 10 has two fingers operative on the disc 21 in its diametrically opposed positions whereby the sensitivity of the draft control is altered. The control impulses are cut-off in the transport position by a cam 31 engaging a collar 30 on the rod 23.
