Abstract

1,090,330. Knitting-machines. WILDMAN JACQUARD CO. Dec. 31, 1965 [Jan. 7, 1965], No. 55464/65. Heading DIC. A recess 26 is provided along the inner edge of the slider of a superpose cylinder machine into which the head broken off from any needle falls in the event of the head shearing during a transfer operation. The slider can, therefore, settle back in its trick despite the broken head and not be held projected thereby to cause further damage to the machine parts.
