Abstract

1,088,174. Dispensing cartons. HIRAM WALKER & SONS (SCOTLAND) Ltd. April 27, 1966 [April 27, 1965], No. 17611/65. Heading B8P. An elongated carton for a stack of articles has an opening, preferably formed by a tearflap, adjacent one end to form a dispenser which provides for withdrawal of the lowermost article and gravity feed of the remaining articles downwards. The carton is of the drawer and shell type, the articles (e.g. bottles) being carried stacked in two drawers 11 in one shell 10, each drawer, Fig. 2, having flaps 18 separating the bottles during transit but collapsible to allow the stack to fall during dispensing.
