[Also in Division H5] An electric heating element comprises a conducting sheet 1 between electrodes each formed of two metal strips 2, 3, positioned against opposite faces of the sheet, one of the strips 2, carrying a portion 4 engaging the other strip. The sheet may be a conductive polymer film or a fabric having a conductive coating supporting A1, Cu or brass electrodes. V-shaped tags punched in strip 2 extend through slits 6, 5 in sheet 1 and strip 3 respectively and are bent over to clamp the strips together.
