Abstract

1,087,085. Slide projector. ALDIS BROS. Ltd. Dec.10, 1965 [Dec.14, 1964], No. 50728/64. Heading G2J. The slide changing mechanism for a projector described in Specification 1, 087, 084 is fitted with means for returning slides to the input guide 12, if the carrier bar 14 is not fully inserted into the projector. This is effected by providing an abutment 20 on the bar 14 which returns a slide which has not been fully inserted, i.e. which is not prevented from returning by a detent 19a. In order to ensure that the slide is not prevented from returning due to obstruction by the leading slide in the input guide, two arms 21 of a spring 22 are provided which engage cam surfaces 23, 24 on the carrier bar (Fig. 3) and which thus prevent the leading slide from contacting the bar 14 until the latter has been returned to its extreme outward position.
