Abstract

A two-part clamp 19, 20 for connecting together two wall boxes 10 in which mutually spaced and facing perpendicular walls 13 of the boxes are each provided with an aperture 15 comprises one U-shaped part 19 having limbs 21 adapted to pass through the apertures 15 in the walls of the boxes and overlie the inner surfaces, and another U-shaped part 20 having limbs 27 so dimensioned that when interposed between the outer surfaces of the walls 13, the inner surfaces thereof are forced into engagement with the limbs 21 of the first part. As shown, in which each aperture is formed by piercing a wall to provide a lug 16, the clamp part 19 is provided with projections 25, surfaces 26 of which are engageable with upper parts of the apertures 15. Spacing flanges 24 may be provided and the two parts 19, 20 may be positively fastened together by a screw 30.
