1,083,653. Ratchet clutches. STIEBER & NEBELMEIER. July 28, 1965 [Aug. 3, 1964], No. 32184/65. Heading F2C. In a drive assembly comprising a sprocket wheel 3 and a sprag-type overrunning clutch 1, the inner race 4 for the sprags 9 forms an axial projection of the member 13 to which the sprocket 3 is bolted and is located outwardly of the hub portion 2 which carries spaced ball bearings 15 mounted in annular recesses in the members 3, 13. The outer race 5 is bolted to a flange 6 of the hub 2 and has a portion 23 projecting into an annular recess 24 in the member 13 to prevent the entry of dust &c.
