[Also in Division E1] In a frame corner joint comprising an insert slidably mounted in a corner element 10 secured angularly to another element 11 and a screw S extending through the other to fasten the insert 23 and the corner element 10, the corner elements are formed by notching a hollow metal rectilinear frame section with a substantially V-shaped notch to form two corner elements secured together by a wall of the frame section, and bending at least one of the elements about the wall securing the elements together until the two elements abut each other.
