1,082,692. Transferring images. J. P. F. BOON. July 2, 1965 [Aug. 7, 1964], No. 32162/64. Heading B6C. A process of producing a positive image on a flexible, adhesive transparent or translucent film comprises the steps of sticking the adhesive side of the film to an image bearing surface and peeling off the transparent film with the image adhered thereto. Any surface adhering to the film is removed by rubbing and/or soaking in water. The resulting imaged side of the film may be covered by any transparent, translucent or opaque adhesive film. Additionally or alternatively the imaged film may be dipped in a chalk suspension and/or coated and polished with silicone wax.
