Abstract
1,081,877. Fuel cell. ESSO RESEARCH & ENGINEERING CO. Sept. 3, 1964 [Dec. 24, 1963], No. 36106/64. Heading H1B. The exhaust from a fuel cell having an aqueous electrolyte carries off more water than is produced and is therefore passed in heatexchange relationship with the incoming oxidant externally of the cell. The resultant moisture precipitated is fed back to the cell to maintain the water content of the electrolyte.
