Abstract

1,081,395. Liquid level indicators. WALKER CROSWELLERS & CO. Ltd. Nov. 26, 1964 [Nov. 26, 1963], No.48192/64. Heading G1H. In a liquid level indicator a number of floats 14, arranged in a tube 4 mounted in a further tube 3 by a split pin 5, normally rest on a pair of pegs 9a connected by wires to a terminal block 19 in turn connected to a remotely located terminal block, Fig. 4 (not shown), and a manually operated slider moves over a series of buttoncontacts in circuit with an audible device and the arrangement is such that the slider, on being moved over the button contacts, completes a circuit to a warning device at the position where the first float 14 is not lifted off the pegs 9a by) the liquid. The electric circuit may include a battery operated audio frequency transistor oscillator actuated through a transformer.
