Abstract

A pharmaceutical composition with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties comprises butazone (monophenyl-4-butylpyrazolidine-3,5-dione) together with propoxyphene (1,2-diphenyl- 2 -propionoxy- 3 -methyl- 4 -dimethyl-aminobutane). The compositions may be administered orally in an aqueous carrier or in the form of tablets having starch, magnesium stearate and talc as compounding ingredients.
