Abstract
The specification describes the same apparatus as that described with reference to Figs. 3-11 of Specification 1,065,731 but the claims are directed to apparatus for supplying tobacco at an accurately known rate for feeding machines producing tobacco articles, comprising a weighing container to which tobacco is supplied, means to stop the feed of tobacco when the container attains a predetermined weight, means for emptying the weighing container at predetermined time intervals after filing and clamp means for engaging the weighing container during the discharge of the latter.
