Abstract

A superconductor is made of an alloy consisting of .Zr.5 - 75% .Ti.5 - 75% .Nb.(at least 20%) the balance The alloy may also contain Ta up to 10% and Hf up to 5%. In an example the alloy was forged at 1000 DEG C., rod-rolled and drawn to wire.
