Contents, delivering; fittings, internal.-A case for holding cigarettes or like articles comprises two hinged parts a<1>, a<2>, each of which has a spring- controlled slide i and a delivery aperture m to enable the cigarettes &c. to be removed one at a time without opening the case. The cigarettes in each half of the case are held in place by guides b', b<2> and are pressed towards the delivery end by one or more spiral or other springs h. One or both halves cf the case may be provided with a match receptacle, which is formed by a partition c and has a delivery opening d'normally covered by a slide.
