Abstract

Gallium arsenide of specified properties is prepared by conventional methods from arsenic which, after sublimation in a stream of hydrogen is further sublimed by passage in vapour form over an initial condensation surface of the same nature as an impurity in the arsenic and then by passage to a final condensation surface not of the same nature as the pure arsenic (see Division B1).
