Abstract

1,074,660. VTOL Aircraft. VEREINIGTE FLUGTECHMISCHE FRUEHER "WESER" FLUGZEUGBAU FOCKE-WULF HEINKELFLUGZEUGBAU G.m.b.H. Sept. 10, 1964, No. 37166/64. Heading B7G. A VTOL aircraft has one or more pairs of jet lift engines, the engines of each pair being arranged on opposite sides of the centre of gravity and the fuel pump of each is driven by the other so that if one engine fails the other does also and asymmetric lift is avoided., The engines may be in the fuselage or in wing- mounted nacelles.
