Abstract

[Also in Division F2] A turbine-driven centrifugal pump is mounted on pedestals 25 on a rectangular bedplate of U-shaped transverse section having an inclined trough 14 to retain leakage liquid. Pads 23, 24 are machined to provide a supporting surface. Angle irons 29 arranged in zig-zag fashion secure the bedplate to the grout which may be poured through holes provided for anchor pins.. A wall 18 retains the liquid which is drained through a pipe coupling Z1.
