Abstract

A method of repelling birds from an article or a structure, or parts thereof, comprises applying to the article or structure, or parts thereof, a composition comprising bis(thiocarbamoyl) disulphide and a film-forming substance comprising a polymer of an acrylic acid ester. The composition may be applied in the form of a paste, mastic, or aqueous dission to parts of buildings e.g. ledges, window sills, masts or parts of the superstructure of a boat or ship, or motor cars. The composition when in the form of a paste may be applied by means of a brush and when in the form of an aqueous dispersion it may be applied as a spray.ALSO:A method of repelling birds from an article or a structure, or part thereof, comprises applying to the article or structure, or part thereof, a composition comprising bis(thiocarbamoyl) disulphide and a film-forming substance comprising a polymer of an acrylic acid ester. The composition may be applied in the form of a paste, mastic, or aqueous dispersion to external parts of buildings e.g. ledges or window sills, masts or parts of the superstructure of a boat or ship, or motor-cars.
