Abstract

107,283. Seymour, G. E., and Porter, A. F. Aug. 3, 1916. Hand-trucks.-The axle 4 of a truck for transporting a bedstead is mounted in vertically-slotted arms 3 and is connected by links 8 to an axle 9 which moves along the horizontal tracks 2 and so alters the vertical distance between the axles, when the screwed rod 6 is actuated. In a modification a similar arrangement of links and axles is provided at the other end of the truck and is actuated by an oppositely-threaded portion of the rod 6.
