Abstract

1,068,640. Dishwashing apparatus. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Dec. 2, 1964 [Dec. 20, 1963], No. 48934/64. Heading A4F. [Also in Division B2] A rotary spray head 41 mounted between upper and lower article-holding racks 9, 10 (not shown) in a dishwashing cabinet has a conical cap 58 provided with spirally arranged discharge slots 60. The spray head 41 is mounted on a conduit 40 having grooves 48 adapted to be engaged by ribs 47 on a grommet 39 carried by a hub 34 from which radiate the two arms of a reaction type sprayer 31. The latter is moved upwardly by fluid pressure when a pump (not shown) is operated to supply liquid thereto, so that the ribs 47 engage in the grooves 48 and the spray head 41 rotates with the sprayer 31.
