Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of the general formula <FORM:1068522/C2/1> in which R is a C1- 5 alkyl radical, R11 is an alkyl, aralkyl or aryl radical, each of X and X1 is a hydrogen or halogen atom or a C1- 5 alkyl, perfluoroalkyl, alkoxy, alkylmercapto, alkylsulphonyl, sulphamoyl, alkylsulphamoyl, dialkylsulphamoyl or acyl radical. The compounds are prepared by condensing a compound of the formula <FORM:1068522/C2/2> with a haloformate of formula halogen-COOR11. The compounds of the invention may be hydrolysed to produce compounds of the formula <FORM:1068522/C2/3> Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 1,001,823, 1,001,824 and 1,002,234.
