Abstract
The novel compound 1,3,5-tris-(3,4-dihydro-2H - pyran - 2 - methyl) - hexahydro - s - triazine is made by heating a mixture of formaldehyde and 2 - aminomethyl - 3,4 - dihydro - 2H-pyran, preferably using triethylamine as catalyst, in MeOH solvent.
