Abstract

Silicon is broken into small irregularly-shaped fragments by shaking in a hollow silicon container, preferably of the same resistivity and dopant content as the silicon to be broken, e.g. a pair of hemispheres.ALSO:Silicon is broken into small irregularly shaped particles by shaking in a hollow silicon container e.g. two hemispheres, preferably of the same resistivity and depart content as the starting material.
