Abstract
A packaged composite soup comprises a package enclosing at least two subpackages containing different components, the contents of at least one of the subpackages being preserved in the wet or moist state. The dry components are packed and sealed without sterilization into one or more containers. The wet or moist components, packed into one or preferably more containers are preserved by conventional pasteurization or sterilization methods according to the nature of the components. Conventional packages and packing materials are used.
