1,065,513. Dip moulding. MITSUI PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Feb.23, 1965, No. 7825/65. Heading B5A. A dip moulding process comprises heating a suitably shaped former and immersing it in a fluidized bed of thermoplastic resinous particles, the gas supply to the bed being cut off to render the bed gradually static immediately before or immediately after the former is immersed. The coated mould is then withdrawn (and further heated to completely fuse said coating if required), cooled, and then separated from the finished article.
