[Also in Division E1] A brush, for a railway snow clearing appliance, comprises a cylindrical drum 17 having rigid channel members 16 secured at spaced intervals along and around the circumference. Steel cables, having frayed ends 14, tied off at 13, are secured to the channels 16 by internal channels 15 and bolts 18.
