Abstract

1,060,581. Moulding destructible pallets. VAL DE TRAVERS ASPHALTE Ltd. Jan. 18, 1965 [Jan. 28, 1964], No. 3567/64. Heading B5A. [Also in Division B8] A destructible pallet for lifting blocks of castable or mouldable material, e.g. asphalt, is made of the same material. The pallet is divided by channels into pieces of the same size as the blocks and, after use, is broken into such pieces along the weakened lines defined by the channels. In use the tines of a fork-lift truck are received in two channels. The pallets are moulded in a rectangular mould comprising a base from which channeldefining ribs extend. The mould side walls have strengthening ribs and are interlocked by removable pegs.
